General information
Opening times
The event formally opens to the public at 9 am, although the
main Bruntingthorpe site gates will be open from 7.30 am to
avoid any queueing on the public road. Only traders and special
pass holders will be able to gain access to the GTI
International site before 9 am.
Re-admission
To avoid unnecessary traffic movements to and from the public car
park, and
to prevent fraudulent re-use of tickets, we have a policy of no
re-admission
without buying another ticket. Please ensure that you arrive with
enough
fuel to take part in the driving activities.
Campers will receive a pass which allows them to leave and re-enter
the site
if necessary, but please note that individual wristbands must be worn
at all
times as they will be checked on re-entry.
Local accommodation
Although we now have camping on site, some visitors may prefer local
hotel
or B&B accommodation. You can find a list on the Bruntingthorpe
Proving
Ground website at
www.bruntingthorpe.com or contact the local tourist board
at: www.goleicestershire.com

Aircraft Museum on site, free of charge.
Animals
Sorry, but due to health and safety issues, as well as site
regulations, NO ANIMALS of any kind (apart from guide dogs) are
allowed on site.
Disabled parking
We have allocated a special area of the main car park, within
easy reach of the main attractions, for the use of Disabled
badge holders. Car park staff will direct you to this area when
you arrive.
First-aid
St Johns Ambulance and a team of paramedics are based on site,
in case of any ill health or injury.
Food and drink
A wide range of food and refreshments will be on sale at a
variety of stands situated in the special Catering Court.
Fuel
No fuel is available on site, nor is it permissable to bring
fuel stocks on site or refuel in the car park, so please make
sure you have plenty of fuel before taking part in the driving
activities. Nearest services are found at North Kilworth (Esso),
which has super unleaded, and Walcote (Total) on the A4304 and
in Wigston (Texaco), on the A5199 into Leicester.
Noise levels
Please note that there is a strict noise enforcement policy on
site at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground. All vehicles must be
silenced to road legal standards ( 98 dB static and 87.5 dB
drive-by ) and there can be no exceptions to this policy.

It is a condition of entry to GTI International
