Volkswagen Driver magazine
GTI INTERNATIONAL is organized by the staff plus friends and associates
of Volkswagen Driver magazine.
Originally launched at GTI International in May 2000,
Volkswagen Driver magazine can be traced right back to 1982, with
its predecessor Volkswagen Audi Car.
As such, the pages of Volkswagen Driver, and our sister title Audi
Driver, contain a wealth of material about the history of Volkswagen
and the related marques, and you can find a comprehensive index of all
the major road tests and articles over the years, on our website at
www.volkswagendrivermag.co.uk .
Nowadays, Volkswagen Driver covers many aspects of the modern VW scene,
with detailed features and road tests of all the latest models, as well
as in-depth articles on modified cars and the latest performance tuning
techniques, DIY and workshop features, motorsport reports, technology,
model history profiles and much, much more. We also run our own
‘Project GTI’, a much-modified Mk 4 GTI 1.8T, which you’ll be able to
see at the event.
Each year we produce
a special high-performance / GTI special issue to coincide with GTI
International.
