Sprint
A major attraction of the event is the quarter-mile Sprint track, where two cars accelerate side-by-side against the clock, with electronic timing of their 0-60 times and quarter-mile elapsed time (ET).
Last year saw well over 500 entries and nearly 1800 runs recorded – the quickest ET was 10.484 (0-60 in 2.5 secs!) recorded by Paul Jordan’s 4WD Scirocco 20VT. This year we hope the fastest cars will finally break into the nines!
But the Sprint isn’t just for specialised racers – anyone can take part with their own road-going cars. Just sign on, pay the fee and join the queue. After the excitement of your run down the quarter-mile you’ll receive a printout, with a graph showing your acceleration through the gears, 0-60 time and ET.
As well as fastest overall, on each day an award is made to the driver recording the fastest time in the following classes:

The Sprint is organised by a team led by Mark and Gary Stokes, with timing by HS Sports.
You can enter on the day (visit the Sprint sales cabin to pay and receive a vehicle pass, before driving to the assembly area) or book in advance, using the booking form on this website.
