Some readers will know that, over the years,
we have organised a very successful series of factory tours for
Volkswagen and Audi enthusiasts. Due to demand from readers, Robin and
Pauline Boyett, who have led all our recent tours to Germany, have
organised a new trip which will begin on Sunday, 5th
September, 2010, with the return on Friday 10th September.
The features of this tour include:
-
Visits to the original Volkswagen factory in
Wolfsburg
-
Visit to the Hannover plant to see, amongst
other things, production of Porsche Panamera body panels
-
Visit to the Porsche factory in Leipzig
-
Visit to Volkswagens Kassel
plant to see the manufacture of components and engines
-
All day at the Autostadt in Wolfsburg, with
the opportunity to visit the town and the original Volkswagen museum
-
All travel by 5-star luxury coach, with
pick-up points between Birmingham Airport and the South Coast on Sunday
5th September. Return drop offs on Friday, 10th
September
|
-
Five night’s
accommodation in quality hotels
-
Five breakfasts, four
light lunches and five evening meals
-
Entry ticket for the
Autostadt in Wolfsburg
-
Possibility of opting out
of factory visit for shopping (we expect that a good proportion of
those taking up this offer will be couples)
Throughout the tour, you will be looked after
by Robin and Pauline Boyett who have years of experience taking readers
to Germany and the factories. The company is always good, while the
hotels and meals are excellent.
The inclusive cost will be £625 per person
for sharing a twin room or £750 for single occupancy. Inevitably, there
will be a limit on the number of places available, so we suggest early
booking.
