Project quattro

We don't just road-test the latest new models ­ Audi Driver also includes a lot of content which will be of interest
to enthusiasts of the older models, with regular features on classic cars, DIY and restoration.

Our own project car is a 1984 Ur-quattro, fitted with a John Reade rebuilt WR engine, MB twin-pot/EBC front brakes,
Toyo tyres and Koni suspension. Not a concours car by any means, but sound and tidy, it is driven regularly by
Audi Driver Editor Paul Harris and often takes part in classic car rallies both in the UK and abroad.
