A follow-up to the highly successful 'Life on Mars', a new BBC 1 TV
series,
which will be aired at 9 pm on Thursdays, features a Mars red Ur quattro.
Following a similar 'back in time' theme, the new series sees
ex-Spooks
star Keeley Hawes appear as an ex-psychologist single-mum Detective
Inpector
who is propelled into the past to clash with the culture of London in
1981.
Sparks fly as the thoroughly modern career woman has to work closely with
divorced 'hard as nails' colleague DCI Gene Hunt, played by Philip
Glenister, who has exchanged his Mk 2 Ford Cortina for a trendy Audi
quattro.
The quattro, actually a 1983 model, used in the series, is featured in
the forthcoming issue of Audi Driver Magazine (March issue, on sale 5th
March).
