This year's Award winners

This year’s event was undoubtedly the most successful Audi Driver International so far, with more people in attendance than ever before, and certainly more cars on display. 

The main paddock area was bustling throughout the day, with a huge turnout from virtually all the major clubs, and a top-quality entry in the Concours d’Elegance, as well as a good selection of trade stands. Audi UK brought along its impressive mobile exhibition unit and showed a range of new models, as well as classic cars from the company’s heritage collection.

The action on track saw a wide selection of Audis, ranging from 80s to R8s, and the TT Owners’ Club, Audi-Sport.net and AudiSRS all enjoyed dedicated sessions on the circuit.

Also on the track was a pair of TT Coupes demonstrating Michelin’s new Pilot Super Sport tyres, and Audi UK’s R8 GT – driven by Richard Attwood – was giving rides around the circuit to selected visitors.

Lunchtime saw the Young People’s Parade, and at the end of the day there was a Grand Parade of classic Audis and club display cars around the circuit.

In the evening, Audi Driver International continued with a reception at Swindon Audi, followed by a gala dinner, the presentation of the Audi Driver Annual Awards, and a disco sponsored by APR/JBS.
