Touareg R50



In a world premiere at the Sydney Motor Show on Oct 11, Volkswagen presented the Touareg R50, a new model with uprated engine, special exterior, leather sport seating, 21-inch alloy wheels and air suspension sport chassis.

With the V10 TDI engine (normally 313 PS) developed to produce 350 PS and  850 Nm torque, at only 2,000 rpm, the new Touareg is among the most powerful SUVs in the world, able to accelerate from 0-62 mph in just 6.7 seconds and achieve a top speed of 146 mph, while still capable of the same fuel consumption as the standard V10 TDI.

Offered exclusively on the Touareg R50 is the colour Biscay blue, while other options are Campanella white, Reflex silver, Black Magic and Atacama grey.
